Referee Clinics
Spring 2008

Thanks to all who attended the Referee Training Clinic on August 9th and August 24th... we had a great turnout and wonderful discussions!

All referees (you must be age 12 or older) wanting to sign up to referee games during the fall 2008 soccer season MUST have attended one of these mandatory referee trainings.

Just a reminder that referees need to wear their yellow and black jerseys, whistle, stop watch, and something to write with for each game.

If you’ll need a referee jersey for the fall 2008, you can order it through Bellbrook Soccer for $20.  Please let us know what size you would like to order.

Bellbrook Soccer also has patches for the referee jerseys.  These are completely optional ... but were ordered after many requests for them in previous seasons.  They will be available the first week of games and cost $2.00

Referees expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of all scheduled game times to allow time to pick up field assignments and game cards, do a safety check of the field, introduce yourself to the coach, and do safety checks with the children.  Referees arriving at the fields more than 5 minutes late will often be replaced by an alternate referee so games can begin as scheduled.  Two or more late arrivals will result in suspension from the referee list for the rest of that season.

Questions?  Feel free to ask Monica or Paul at MrsStPierreSmith@aol.com

Dates for the Spring Referee Trainings will be posted in Junary 2009
